14 DAY TRIAL // Samsung has just announced it has optimized its ChatON messaging platform to work on Galaxy Tab slates. The new ChatON Tablet 1.6.1 is solely available for Samsung tablets, but also for a non-Samsung device, which has yet to be specified.
ChatON for tablets brings support for 58 languages, ACS (Auto Calling System), and emoticons (more than 150 are now available).
The rest of the features are similar to the smartphone version, including chat, group chat, broadcasts, animation messages, pictures, videos, audio, location info, contacts and calendar.
Currently, ChatON Tablet 1.6.1 is fully compatible with the following devices: Galaxy Tab 10.1, Galaxy Tab 8.9, Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE, Galaxy Tab 7.7, Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi 10.1, Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi 8.9 and Galaxy Tab Wi-Fi 7.7.
According to Samsung, the new ChatON Tablet application is available for download via Google Play and Samsung Apps.
