Samsung Canada Kicks Off Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean Rollout for Galaxy S II

Although Samsung Canada confirmed earlier today that Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update would be available “in the next few days” for Bell Galaxy S II, it looks like the company has just started the rollout of the upgrade.

According to SamMobile, Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean is now being pushed in phases to all Samsung Galaxy S II units in Canada, which is why it might take a while to reach all users.

We spotted some of the official ROMs that have just been published by SamMobile and noticed Bell and SaskTel Galaxy S II units were the first to receive the update.

Earlier this month Samsung stated that Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean for Galaxy S II would be available for download via Kies desktop software, but it might go live OTA (over the air) as well. Stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
