Canadian carrier Fido has just added the Samsung C414 handset to its portfolio of cheap feature-phones. The device is available for as low as $20 (15 EUR) with a monthly plan and two-year agreement.

Customers who want to avoid being tied down by a long term contract can purchase the Samsung C414 for only $75 (55 EUR) upfront.

The C414 is a basic mobile phone that features a clamshell form factor. It offers 3G dual band and GSM quad band, as well as a large keypad for easier dialing.

Software-wise, the C414 comes pre-loaded with Internet browser, calendar, alarm, calculator, memo book, stop watch, and countdown time.

There’s also a 2-megapixel sub-par camera on the upper part of the phone, a 2.2-inch main display that supports 240 x 320 pixels resolution, as well as Bluetooth connectivity.
