Even though Samsung has just launched its flagship Galaxy S II Android smartphone, the Korean handset manufacturer plans to release a new feature-phone on the market, the C3750.

Bearing a slider form factor, Samsung C3750 seems to be running the manufacturer's proprietary TouchWiz user-friendly interface, although there are no details about the version of the UI.

Furthermore, the phone measures 98 x 49 x 15 mm and weighs 89g (battery included). It supports GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz network bands and GPRS/EDGE class 10 for data transfers and Internet browsing.

With a small 2.4-inch TFT display that supports 240 x 320 pixels resolution, and a 3.2 megapixel camera, the Samsung C3750 does not stand out.

The slider packs 37 MB of internal memory, microSD card slot for memory expansion, Bluetooth and microUSB connectivity.

It appears that the Samsung C3750 comes with special features such as the SOS and Fake call function.

With the Fake call function users can simulate an incoming phone call using pre-defined settings.

Usually, to activate the function users must hold the down volume button and the phone will ring with an unknown number.

The Fake call function can be disabled anytime from the phone's Menu, under Settings / Application setting / Fake call.

With the SOS function, elderly users can press a dedicated button instead of dialing 911 when they need it.

It is also possible to set an emergency phone number that should be automatically dialed when the SOS button is pushed. Users can set up to four numbers that can be called or texted in case of emergency.

Samsung C3750 is powered by an 800 mAh Li-Ion battery that should provide up to 11 hours of talk time or up to 500 hours of standby time.

There's no word on the exact release date of the slider or price, but the C3750 has already been listed on Samsung Germany's official website.
