Seeing a company buy another is a common occurrence on the worldwide IT industry, like on every other layer of the economy really.

Samsung is the one that made this kind of move, having scored a deal through which it will fully acquire mSpot Inc., a company from San Francisco.

All of the latter's technological assets and employees will transfer under Samsung supervision.

“mSpot’s entertainment services will be a key integrated offering on newly announced Samsung mobile devices,” the company reportedly said.

Once Samsung sufficiently integrates mSpot's assets into its own, it will be able to better provide owners of its various consumer electronics (phones, tablets, laptops, etc.) with cloud-streamed films and music.

Unfortunately, how much mSpot's got paid for accepting this deal was left unexplored. Ah well, we'll have to manage just knowing that better online video is around the corner.
