Samsung’s ChatON messaging service has just made its official appearance on Microsoft’s Windows Phone operating system for the company’s users.

The South Korean mobile phone maker has long promised its availability on more platforms beside its bada OS, and it is pushing it to more users as part of that promise.

ChatON has been designed as a multi-platform service to enable users to stay connected to one another, and it is currently available on bada, Android, BlackBerry, iOS and PC, in addition to Windows Phone.

In addition to enabling users to enjoy one-on-one conversations through it, the service also provides support for group chat, which should appeal a lot to many.

Some of the features packed in this application include Profile page, Animated messages (via drawing), Location info, Calendar, Multimedia sharing (and storage), and Interaction Rank.

The application is available for download today through the Samsung Zone in the Marketplace.
