Leading mobile phone maker Samsung Mobile announced officially plans to showcase some of its latest products on the floor at CTIA Enterprise & Applications 2010, including the already highly-popular Samsung Galaxy Tab Android tablet PC, and the high-end Samsung Galaxy S smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab is the first slate the handset vendor brings to the market with Google's Android operating system on board.

The device sports a wide range of features that Galaxy S comes to the market with, while packing a 7-inch touchscreen display, complemented by a 1GHz application processor that supports 3D graphics and smooth Web browsing.

The tablet PC is powered by Google's Android 2.2 operating system and offers support for Adobe Flash Player 10.1, in addition to access to the Samsung Media Hub, where users would find a robust collection of premium movies and TV episodes from leading companies.

According to Samsung, each of its Galaxy S devices comes with powerful, cutting-edge technology, aimed at enhancing the experience users receive from their smartphones.

The handset boasts a 4-inch Super AMOLED display screen, complemented by a 1GHz Hummingbird processor and a wide range of entertainment, messaging and social networking features.

Already available for purchase on various markets around the world, including the US, the Galaxy S was sold in over 5 million units since its initial launch in spring, including 2 million units at carriers in the US and 1 million in South Korea.

In addition to these two Android-based devices, the handset vendor also plans on showcasing various Samsung Mobile Accessories at CTIA, as well as Samsung Enterprise solutions.

“Samsung Mobile offers a complete portfolio of accessories for the Galaxy S series and Galaxy Tab, including vehicle and desktop docks for an enhanced mobile experience,” the company announced in a press release.

“This year, Samsung Mobile will offer show attendees the opportunity to order accessories directly from Samsung onsite at its booth.”

Those interested in more info on this should head to CTIA Enterprise & Applications 2010 in San Francisco, from 6 to 8 October.
