South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung has just announced the release of no less than four new devices on the market in India, including three Wave handsets, complemented by the Omnia 652, a Windows Mobile device.

The three bada OS-based mobile phones launched on the market in India include the Wave 525, Wave 533 and Wave 723, while the Omnia 652 arrived on shelves with the Windows Mobile OS on board.

Wave 525 and Wave 533 smartphones come with similar features, the main difference between them being the physical QWERTY keyboard included with the latter.

The rest of the specifications for the two smartphones are almost identical, including the 3.2-inch touchscreen display, or the TouchWiz 3.0 user interface Samsung pre-loaded them with.

Other than that, the handsets come with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity options, as well as with A-GPS, or FM Radio, and with a 3.2-megapixel photo snapper on the back. The price tag for Wave 525 and Wave 533 was set at Rs. 8,800 and Rs. 9,900, respectively.

The Wave 723, the third bada-based smartphone to be launched in India, sports a 3.2-inch touchscreen display too, as well as the TouchWiz 3.0 UI.

However, this device reportedly packs better quality than the other two phones, while also including some better specs.

Social Hub, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, or SoundAlive audio enhancing tech are included among its specifications, as well as a 5-megapixel photo snapper with LED flash.

One particular feature for this device would be its detachable flip leather cover. The Wave 723 sports a price tag of Rs. 13,500.

The fourth mobile phone that Samsung has brought to the market in India now was the Omnia 652, which is said to be the one and the same Omnia Pro 5 (B6520).

The smartphone and runs under Windows Mobile 6.5 OS, boasts a 2.4-inch display and a QWERTY keyboard on a candybar form factor, and a 2-megapixel photo snapper on the back.

Moreover, the new device comes with support for 3G connectivity, Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi, built-in GPS receiver, Microsoft's Office suite, and a 1500mAh battery. The handset features a price tag of Rs. 10,600.
