Windows RT seems to have the same fate as Windows 8, Microsoft’s new operating system that has often been deemed a confusing software due to the lack of a Start button and several UI changes.

This time Samsung, one of the companies that planned to release several Windows RT tablets in the US, says it won’t do so especially because the tablet-oriented operating system is too confusing, so consumers would need additional training.

“When we did some tests and studies on how we could go to market with a Windows RT device, we determined there was a lot of heavy lifting we still needed to do to educate the customer on what Windows RT was,” Samsung Executive Mike Abary was quoted as saying by The Verge.

Abary, however, said that embracing Windows RT again was still possible in the future, but at this point, launching tablets featuring Microsoft’s new operating system in a large market such as the US isn’t the right choice.
