South Korean mobile phone maker Samsung has reportedly started to deliver the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS upgrade to the owners of the international flavor of the Galaxy Note II smartphone.

Pushed to devices as firmware version JZO54K, the update brings along new additions in Notification Toggles, a customizable Notification Panel, and enhancements to the browser.

Furthermore, users will have the possibility to disable the Brightness Slider in Notification Panel and the Multi-View feature following the update.

The status bar is now black, and there is also a new Ink Effect on lockscreen, a post on SamMobile notes. The update also provides users with a Group Cast application.

The new software release will be delivered to users both over the air and via the Samsung Kies desktop application. However, it will be rolled out in phases, which means that some users will receive it at a later date.
