Samsung Armani, first launched in December 2007, is from now on available in Romania, bringing its advanced functionality for users who want a handset that stands-out thanks to its exquisite design.

Samsung Armani is a tri-band GSM device (900 / 1800 / 1900 MHz) that combines the elegance and simplicity of the Armani brand with Samsung's latest technology. It has no hardware keypad and all the data input is made via its full touchscreen user interface that provides haptic feedback to simulate the touch of real buttons. Measuring just 87.5 x 54.5 x 10.5 millimeters and weighing 85 grams, the phone is a luxury device that suits perfectly in your pocket ? an ideal mobile accessory.

Although it comes with such a small size, Samsung Armani packs many evolved features. It has a 2.6 inch TFT touchscreen with a 240 x 320 pixel resolution that can offer an excellent visual experience and a built-in 3.15 Megapixel camera with video recording that will allow users to take photos at a good quality.

Furthermore, the fashionable handset features GPRS and EDGE connectivity, Video player, Music player (with support for MP3, ACC and ACC+), Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, USB 2.0, WAP 2.0/xHTML browser, MMS, e-mail capabilities, organizer and document viewer (PDF, as well as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint). The phone also comes with Java MIDP 2.0 compatibility, 60 MB of internal memory and microSD card support. Its standard Li-Ion 880 mAh battery should provide up to 6 hours of talk-time and up to 220 hours of stand-by time.

Samsung Armani will be available in Romania via HAT Group, the official Samsung mobile phone distributor. The handset's price is unknown for the moment, but in other European countries it retails for almost $1000, so we should expect a similar price.
