Armani phone looks so...Prada

The Samsung Armani mobile phone has just been recently announced for a close release. Some official images of the phone that came with the unveiling looked great, but the live ones surely show the best of what this handset has to offer.

Just as previous information revealed, the handset shows a striking resemblance with the LG Prada phone. In fact, the only difference that comes between the two devices is the Giorgio Armani name that stands at the bottom of the mobile phone. Its shape, sizes and even buttons look just about the same. Unfortunate similarities, as it leaves the impression that the two famous designers have nothing to offer in terms of diversity. Either that, or the fact that they left it up to the handset producers to leave a personality mark on the phone, without involving themselves one bit.

Going past the standard design that many producers of touchscreen-enabled mobile phones have chosen for their products, Samsung Armani shows some impressive specifications as well. The device has the small sizes of a credit card, with only 10.mm in thickness. This makes it slim, compact and stylish, above all.

Despite its tiny measures, Samsung Armani still packs a 2.6 inch screen and a strong 3 megapixel camera, for great quality pictures. No matter how smart it might be, the phone still proves it has a fashion taste, targeted to those in search for a famous brand in a product rather than special features. This device has great performances as well, but fails to impress exactly on the side which should have made it stand out: its design.

The Giorgio Armani Samsung mobile phone should be available in Europe starting this November, for the huge price of EUR 650 (about USD 920). That's a great deal more than what LG's Prada phone came for, although they look just about the same.
