Samsung just released one of its latest music phones, Samsung Anycall MusiCall F258, a pretty little slider that brings lots of features to users who mainly want music capabilities from a cell phone. The new handset is specially designed for the fans of Rain. And if you haven't heard about Rain (real name: Jung Ji-hoon) until now, he's a famous Korean pop singer, actor and entertainer, known not only in Asia but all over the globe. The prestigious US Time Magazine listed him in 2006 among the 100 Most Influential People Who Shape the World, while People Magazine listed him in 2007 among the 100 Most Beautiful People.

Back to the phone, Samsung F258 is a tri-band GSM device (900/1800/1900 MHz) that offers a One Touch Music Hot Key for easy accessing songs, dedicated music UI, Music Player with MTP support, Background Music Play Mode, FM Raido, 3.5mm Stereo Headset Jack and Dual Headsets Jack support. Moreover, the handset has Rain's signature imprinted on the back cover and comes with the singer's "I'm coming" hit as a full MP3 track, as well as with Rain wallpapers.

Measuring 94 x 46 x 17.5 millimeters and weighing 97 grams, the phone packs a 2 inch 65K TFT color display (128 x 160 pixel resolution), EDGE connectivity, a 1.3 Megapixel with 4x digital zoom, Video player, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP and BPP, USB 2.0, WAP 2.0 browser, speakerphone and microSD card support (for up to 2GB of extended memory). With a full-charged battery, the slider can offer about 3.5 hours of talk-time and up to 240 hours of stand-by time.

The new Samsung F258 music phone is now available in select Asian markets, in two color versions (blue and brown) for a suggested retail price of about $200. No word about its availability in other continents yet.
