When it detailed the RF series and the QX410 notebooks, Samsung also made public the impending arrival of the SF510, a laptop based on an Intel Core i3 CPU, and the NF210 netbook, which is, predictably, powered by the Pine Trail mobile platform.

As it happens, the start of September marked the beginning of Fall, and that was a signal for the unveiling of entire new lines of products on the part of many IT players.

Samsung, thus, brought out multiple mobile PCs, one of which is the aforementioned SF510, based on the Intel Core i3-370 central processing unit (CPU).

This notebook has 4GB of DDR3 to back up said chip but, unlike the QX410 and RF models, does not have a discrete GPU, settling, instead, for the Intel HD graphics.

Design-wise, the machine has a 15.6-inch SuperBrigth HD display (1,366 x 768 pixel resolution) and a weight of 5.3 lbs.

“Integrating a uniquely contoured clamshell design, the new SF510 is hip and sophisticated without sacrificing computing power or functionality,” states the official announcement.

Other specifications include 802.11b/g/n WiFi, up to 500GB of HDD storage, a 4-in-1 card reader, True2Sound SRS Premium Sound and up to 7 hours of battery life.

The NF210 is an entry-level mobile PC based on the Atom N455 central processing unit, which is backed up by 1GB of DDR3 memory.

The netbook boasts the GMA 3150 integrated graphics and a 10.1-inch LED screen with a resolution of 1,024 x 600 pixels.

Furthermore, the configuration includes up to 250GB of storage, 3W Stereo speakers, 802.11b/g/n WiFi and a battery life of up to 14 hours.

Finally, the NF210 is pre-loaded with the Microsoft Windows 7 Starter operating system, whereas the SF510 run Windows 7 home Premium.

Set to become available this Fall, the SF510 and NF210 are priced at $799 and $379, respectively.
