Samsung has already launched the Ativ S in the UK and is now planning to release the smartphone in North America. However, other countries won’t be so lucky as to receive the device this year.
According to WPArea.de
, Samsung Ativ S has just been delayed to next year at T-Mobile Germany. Even though the smartphone was slated for a Q4 2012 release, it looks like Samsung and T-Mobile backtracked on the original announcement for unknown reasons.
Samsung Ativ S
is the only Windows Phone 8 handset announced by the South Korean company and has been especially built to compete with Nokia Lumia 920.
In this regard, the smartphone is packed with a dual-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, which is complemented by an Adreno 225 graphics processing unit and 1GB of RAM. Stay tuned for more updates on the Ativ S upcoming launch in Germany.
