The smartphone will be available for $80/€60 on 3-year contracts

We reported yesterday that the Samsung Ativ S was expected to land in Canada by the end of the week, at Rogers and Bell Mobility carriers.

Today, the folks over at MobileSyrup have published a Bell internal document which has confirmed that the smartphone will hit shelves on December 14.

Samsung Ativ S is expected to go on sale for $80/€60 with new three-year agreements or $600/€465 outright, though Bell has yet to confirm these pricing options.

Powered by Windows Phone 8 operating system, the Ativ S packs a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, an Adreno 225 GPU, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD memory card.

The smartphone also sports a hyper-vibrant 4.8-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution, as well as an 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording.
