Samba 4.1.5, an app that seamlessly integrates Linux/Unix servers and desktops into Active Directory environments using the winbind daemon, has been officially released.

This is just a maintenance build in the 4.1.x branch, featuring only a small number of fixes that have been shared with the 4.0.x build.

According to the developers, a 100% CPU utilization bug in winbindd when trying to free memory in winbindd_reinit_after_fork has been fixed, and a number of memory overwrites have been corrected.

Also, the shadow_copy2 module is now working with Windows 7, various crashes on invalid input have been fixed, and support has been added for Heimdal's unified krb5 and hdb plugin system.

More details about this release can be found in the official announcement.
