Samba 3.6.15 Fixes Winbind Crash Bug

Samba, an app that seamlessly integrates Linux/Unix servers and desktops into Active Directory environments using the Winbind daemon, is now at version 3.6.15.

This is the oldest stable branch still maintained by the developers. Most of the changes implemented are just maintenance fixes and improvements.

Highlights of Samba 3.6.15:

• A crash bug in Winbind has been fixed;
• "guest ok", "force user" and "force group" for guest users have been fixed;
• A panic error in nt_printer_publish_ads has been fixed;
• 'map untrusted to domain' with NTLMv2 function has been fixed.

Samba is an important component that is needed to integrate Linux/Unix Servers and Desktops into Active Directory environments by using the winbind daemon.
