14 DAY TRIAL // Sam Taylor-Johnson, formerly Taylor-Wood, the director of the upcoming “Fifty Shades of Grey,” dropped one huge teaser for fans of the big screen adaptation of the first installment in E.L. James’ trilogy, at the Hollywood premiere of “Godzilla.”
Aaron Taylor-Johnson, her husband, plays lead in the monster flick and, for a very long time before casting on “Fifty Shades” was official, was rumored to play kinky millionaire Christian Grey in it.
He denied the reports, saying it would be weird if he ended up with the part but, in all fairness, he never said anything about playing a different character – which seems to be the case, according to the Daily Mail.
Asked on the red carpet at the “Godzilla” premiere if she could somehow find a role for Aaron in “Fifty Shades,” Sam replied with a smile, “Actually, I have.” She would not reveal more details on who he might play but the character is either very insignificant to the plot or will be kept a secret until the release because, right now, IMDB doesn’t list him among the principal cast.
In less exciting news, Sam revealed that the film was already in post-production and that, “it’s going good. I’m editing it right now, so I’m deep in the thick of it.”
“Fifty Shades of Grey” will be out on Valentine’s Day next year. So far, fans are yet to see a teaser video or a trailer from it.
