Probably all of you know those lovable comic book and video game characters Sam and Max. Maybe some of you have even played one or two episodes of the game. If you are a fan of the series, know that a new episode in the series will come out soon and it will be called "Situation: Comedy".

EuroGamer has the word and according to them, the game's developer, Telltale Games has announced that it will be available for purchase on the 5th of January. GameTap
users will be able to get the game a little bit sooner than others, on the 21st of December to be exact.

Sam and Max are two fictional characters most popular in America. They have been created back in 1987 as two comic book characters, and in 1993 they made the breakthrough to the video game scene with Sam & Max: Hit the Road. Both of them are private investigators or should I say "freelance policemen"?

Sam is laid-back dog who wears and suit and a hat. He is the brains of the team and rarely loses his temper in comparison with Max, a rabbit-like character, who likes violence and has a more aggressive way of solving problems.

Starting with September 2005, the Sam & Max franchise was taken over by Telltale Games, company which will develop six episodes of the game. The first one was released on October 17, and was named "Culture Shock". If you want to learn more about it, be sure to check out the Softpedia review of Sam & Max: Culture Shock. My colleague, who reviewed it had a great time playing it, and I'm sure you will too.
