Sam & Max Season Two Gets Collector's DVD

The beloved detectives get the red carpet treatment

If you consider yourself a true Sam & Max fan, the latest release from Telltale is a must have! I'm talking about the Collector's Edition for the second season of the franchise, a collection of the five games filled with lots of

bonuses. The Sam & Max Season Two Collector's DVD is available for ordering starting today, from the official website of the game developer.

Sam & Max is called by Telltale "gaming's first sitcom" and that's the reason why they have prepared for it such a premium treatment, usually adopted for television series. The boxed-set will include the aforementioned five titles, hours of region-free video clips of "behind the scenes" footage, commentary from the developers, the 20 minute long video feature "Sam & Max Nearly Save Christmas", trailers, concept art, wallpapers and a soundtrack in MP3 format. In other words, tons of great things!

The nice aspect about Telltale is that the company doesn't plan to rip off your money - if you have already downloaded the Sam & Max Season Two, you can order the Collector's DVD and only pay the costs for shipping and handling. If you don't have the games, all the stuff above will only cost you $34.95. The shipment starts in August.

Also, for the most hardcore fans, Telltale has stocked its store with lots of other things you can purchase, such as the complete Sam & Max Season Two soundtrack - 2 CDs for $19.99, a case file filled with "evidence" from the entire season for $5.99 and a poster print based on the cover art for $19.99 (if you want it with an autograph) or $14.99 (if you prefer it as it is).

The classic and adored point and click adventure series Sam & Max features the beloved detectives of the present and the past, Sam, the six-foot dog and Max, the three-foot rabbit. Together, they patrol the streets of a fantastical New York City, righting wrongs and ridding the world of the legions of "self-propelled gutter trash" that fill the streets.
