After Linda Carter, the actress famous for playing Wonder Woman in the famous TV series, has stated that Catherine Zeta-Jones and Sandra Bullock are too old for the part for the big screen, rumors about young and talented actresses suitable for the movie started to appear.
Apparently, the OC's Mischa Barton, 19, Katie Holmes, 26, or Jessica Biel, 23, could all be in the frame for the role, while British actress Kate Beckinsale has also voiced her desire to play the part.
"I dressed up as her last Halloween so it would be good to do it again," she said.
"Frida" star Salma Hayek has been recently added to the list of the Hollywood divas thinking of playing Wonder Woman.
Linda Carter, who stars in "Sky High", confessed that was the part that impacted her life the most. "I have always embraced Wonder Woman.
I even read the comic books as a kid", she said.
''I think there's such a strong archetype there for gay people, 'that secret self. It's that hidden self that's not about being defined by secrets or by sexuality, but being defined by your heart.
So many of us have to hide our lives in order to make other people comfortable. And when you stop hiding your life to make other people comfortable, you begin to love yourself", Carter added.
