Salma Hayek, the curvy Mexican actress doesn't want to submit to the anorexic figure which has become a standard in Hollywood. She hits out at the celebrity women's obsession with weight saying extreme dieting turns actresses into "bitches".

The Desperado sexy star simply refuses to conform to Hollywood standards and doesn't want to work out, wear sunblock or starve herself for a role.
"I find it very boring to have to be skinny all the time. It bores me and makes me bitchy. And yet in Hollywood it's okay if you're a bitch - as long as you're skinny!" states the actress.

Salma Hayek believes that such superficial standards concerning the looks of a woman send the wrong messages to people and are quite a disaster to the girls who have a curvy figure by birth. "A lot of these girls who spend so much time trying to be skinny - everyone is complaining about them. They don't make people feel good about themselves."

The amazing brunette is extremely right about this issue and has the courage to stand for her opinion. It's quite a pity that Hollywood provides such superficial and wrong models for women. There would be so much better for all the women suffering from eating disorder if there were many more celebrities like her to set an example of healthy way of thinking and acting.
