The distribution plugs some wholes in the Adobe Flash package

Salix MATE, a Linux distribution based on Slackware that is simple, fast and easy to use and fully backwards compatible with Slackware, so Slackware users can benefit from Salix repositories, is now at version 13.37 RC2.

Just a few weeks after the release of the Salix MATE 13.37 RC1, practical out the blue, the developers are now presenting a new development version, this time Release Candidate 2, which includes the following changes:

· Security fixes for Adobe Flash have been integrated; · Fixes for wicd network manager have been implemented; · Minor fixes in the mate-utils package have been added; · A bug where the dictionary would not launch if it was the very first thing a fresh user started has been repaired.

Download Salix Mate 13.37 RC2 right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a development release and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended to be used for testing purposes only.
