Salix Live Xfce, a GNU/Linux distribution based on Slackware that is simple, fast and easy to use, is now at version 13.37.

Salix Live Xfce 13.37 has been for some time in development, but it was worth the wait as it will be used as a base for all other editions of Salix Live, namely KDE, LXDE and Fluxbox, at least according to the developers.

The distribution uses SaLT (Salix Live Technology), a new system of Live tools for Slackware-based distros developed in house by JRD.

There are a lot of new packages updated, such as ISO Master, Gparted, Grub2, LiloSetup, LiveClone, Persistence Wizard, Remmina, and of course, salix-live-installer.

A number of important bugs have been fixed, but there are too many to mention. A complete list can be found in the official announcement.
