Yesterday, Xiaomi held the second batch of sales for its Mi3 smartphone in India, only to announce that stock had been depleted in a matter of seconds, which made a lot of people wonder how many devices the company actually had for sale in the first place.

Today, that mystery has been solved, as Xiaomi has officially revealed that it managed to sell 20,000 Xiaomi Mi3 handsets in India since making the phone available for purchase for the first time several weeks ago.

At the same time, the Chinese mobile phone maker has revealed that it is currently working on meeting the demand for the smartphone in this country, and that it will start selling the phone once again on August 5.

Xiaomi Mi3 will be available in India via Flipkart, which has had exclusivity on it until now as well. The handset sports a price tag of Rs. 13,999 ($230 / €175), SIM-free.

As AndroidOS notes, the online retailer will also offer accessories for the mobile phone, and has revealed that some of these will include Mi3 screen protector and Flip cover, along with in-ear headphones.

Unfortunately, the company has not provided specific info on when these accessories will be released. However, it has said that they will be available at Rs. 179 ($3/€2.2), Rs. 559 ($9.3/€7), and Rs. 999 ($16.6/€12.4), respectively.
