One of the highlights of the Super Smash Bros. presentation that Nintendo recently delivered was the reveal of the Final Smash that beloved character Mega Man would use, which involves five different iterations of the Capcom-created hero all firing at once.

Masahiro Sakurai, the original creator of the franchise, says that his team worked hard in order to make sure that it got the right from Capcom in order to use Mega Man Volnutt and X.

Apparently, the publisher initially had no idea about the versions of the character that he was interested in using, according to PR4gaming.

Sakurai states, “Since this is probably the last time people will see Rockman, I wanted it to be a celebration of the entire franchise. I honestly believe that I put more time into thinking about Rockman’s inclusion in Smash Brothers than Capcom did thinking about Rockman at all this past year."

The new Super Smash Bros. will be launched on the 3DS handheld at some point during summer of this year, and w Wii U version of the game will be delivered during the winter.

The team has also explained that a new mode would be offered exclusively on the 3DS, allowing players to spend five minutes collecting powerups and experience in a giant dungeon before they battle each other for victory.
