Gaming gear designer Saitek has unveiled a fully adjustable mouse dedicated to professional gamers and enthusiasts. Known as the Cyborg Mouse, the high end laser device allows gamers play longer without
any sign of discomfort of fatigue.

The Cyborg Mouse is powered by a switch-activated motor that allows the user to control its length. The rear shell can be moved back and forth in order to expand the mouse's effective grip surface. A good grip translates into better mouse control and dramatically decreases the muscular tension in the hand. The device's length can be controlled either via a software application that installs along with the drivers, or by holding the 'Mode' button on the Cyborg mouse down and then pushing the mouse's directional pad into position.

The mouse has much more customizable functions, apart from its mobile shell. Its scroll wheel can also be tweaked for optimal detent force. The mouse already comes with three preset modes in order to offer the best 'weapon selection' mode, from Low to High, depending on how the gamer applies force on the wheel. This feature is extremely important for the users who have switched from their mouse to the new Cyborg.

Saitek's Cyborg comes with a 4-way low profile hat switch plus 7 extra buttons for extended controls. These buttons can be programmed via Saitek's SST programming software, that allows the user define a total of 24 programmable commands to meet their gaming needs. The controls can be achieved using the built-in three-stage mode button, and the software can save them as game-specific user profiles.

Moreover, aiming can be improved when playing shooting games through the same three-stage mode switch. Since the mouse is dedicated to gamers, it can easily adopt a scanning resolution of between 400 and 3200 DPI. The huge scanning resolution is powered by Saitek's patented anti-deceleration laser technology for reliable movement tracking.
