A sleek backlit keyboard with a range of features to leverage users' experience

Saitek has recently unveiled a new addition to its PC keyboard series, the Eclipse III Backlit Multimedia Keyboard. As the name suggests, we're talking a sleek backlit keyboard, which also features touch-sensitive lighting and volume controls, as well as ergonomically placed shortcut keys. All the features of the newest Saitek product are meant to ensure a leveraged user experience, no matter whether multimedia enthusiasts or passionate gamers.

The new Eclipse III Backlit Multimedia Keyboard features multi color backlighting highlight key controls which are also adjustable. Users are able to change settings quickly and easily through the touch-sensitive control panel included in the layout. Moreover, the keyboard features two stage height adjustments along with removable wrist rest meant to increase users’ comfort.

To ensure simple connectivity, the manufacturer included pass through headphone and microphone audio ports with the new Eclipse III Backlit. As it is a multimedia keyboard, it also features Windows and Internet shortcut keys, which often can prove to be time-saving. The keys are laser-etched, soft touch and durable. The keyboard is a USB plug and play product, capable of keeping the color and keyboard settings even after the system is rebooted.

Saitek's keyboard series includes other two Eclipse models, both featuring key backlighting, as well as other models like the Cyborg Keyboard, K140 Backlit Slimline Multimedia keyboard or K120 Slimline Multimedia Keyboard. The company is committed to provide its customers with durable products meant to leverage user's multimedia, gaming and other PC experiences. Besides PC gaming and peripheral products, Saitak's portfolio also includes devices for the PS3 and the Xbox 360, as well as portable chess and tablet chess products meant to enrich users’ experience.

The Eclipse III Backlit Multimedia Keyboard is compatible with any system that features USB 2.0 connectivity and runs Windows XP, Windows XP 64-bit or any version of Windows Vista. The manufacturer has not unveiled any pricing for its new Eclipse III Backlit Multimedia Keyboard yet.
