Just as Volition and THQ are preparing to debut Saints Row 3: The Third in two weeks, the companies have presented some more details on the PC version of the outlandish open world game, including the minimum and recommended system requirements, as well as some of the features that will be available to those who get it for that platform.

We were very impressed with Saints Row 3 back at Gamescom 2011, and both Volition and THQ, the game's developer and publisher, respectively, have made it clear that they want to make the most over the top, open world experience possible, allowing gamers all sorts of crazy options to wreak havoc in the virtual Steelport City.

Now, ahead of the game's release, and after making it clear that its PC version isn't delayed, like other games this fall season, including Batman: Arkham City or Assassin's Creed: Revelations, the team at Volition has presented some more details about this edition of Saints Row 3.

There are quite a few features that will be available to those who get the game's PC version, which Volition assures fans won't be a broken port of the console editions, like Saints Row 2.

"First up, the Steam version of Saints Row: The Third will feature the Saints Video Record Mode, allowing you to record and save your most over-the-top gameplay clips, which you are free to share on social media sites and of course right here on SaintsRow.com," Volition revealed. "And if you’re a true cinephile, you can switch off the HUD and showcase your cheerleader assassin character in all her unblemished glory."

"Post launch, the PC version will receive exclusive customization options, including oversized bobblehead masks of characters from your favorite non-THQ online shooter, Valve’s Team Fortress 2. They’re free, so Strap Them On! Stay tuned for more details in the future."

Besides the aforementioned features, technologies like AMD Eyefinity, DirectX 9, 10 and 11, as well as AMD Crossfire and Nvidia SLI are supported by the game. Players are also able to tweak options like advanced depth of field, reflections, and ambient occlusion quality.
