The French from Sagem have released a new handset called myW-7.

Sagem myW-7 is a multifunctional multimedia phone and includes 3G/UMTS technology, video-telephony functionality, and dual cameras.

The 3G/UMTS technology provides data transmission speeds (up to 384 KB/sec) that deliver a smooth Internet experience and fast email and MMS-photo exchange, together with high-speed music and video download power. The Sagem myW-7 uses the two onboard cameras to graft video onto voice communication. Users can switch between cameras during video calls to change the viewpoint. The large display (176 x 220 pixels, 256k colors) provides high-fidelity rendering of the images captured through the VGA-resolution (300k pixels) video-call dedicated camera.

The integrated 3G UMTS modem makes the handset particularly well-suited for Live TV, which means that it can be connected to a laptop or desktop computer and serve as a mobile modem, so customers can use their computer to browse the Internet even when they're not at home.

The Sagem myW-7 can be synced with most of the web-based e-mail services and features Bluetooth, for wireless connection to a wide range of peripherals and accessories, such as photo printer, hands-free kits, etc.
