The phone that matches your wardrobe

Since Spring has finally arrived, it's enough for manufacturers to release handsets covered in flowery patterns and colorful paint. One of the first to do so this year is Sagem, who has recently unveiled a small clamshell dubbed the my300C.

There are several color varieties to choose from, as is to be expected from a fashionable mobile phone. The light green one comes with geometrical motifs, the red version features a rose while the black my300C comes with a bright turquoise line on the front of the case.

Its looks are the key feature while its specs are typical for a low-end device. They include a VGA camera with 4x zoom, 65k color screen and several basic features like WAP 2.0, text/multimedia messaging and pre-loaded Java games.

Since it doesn't come with an external display, Sagem has still found a rather stylish and useful way to inform the users when they have an incoming call or text message. The light on the exterior will start flashing discretely each time someone's calling. Needless to say, it's a phone that targets basic users, without need for advanced features, multi-megapixel cameras or a large internal storage space for music collections.

It is also what Sagem does best, an easy to use phone with stylish looks that offers all of the features a mobile phone user can't do without for a reasonable price tag. Aside from looking rather nice, the my300C measures 79.2x43.5x21.7 mm and is quite lightweight at 80 grams, so it should be quite convenient to carry around. According to the manufacturer, it should become available starting June this year.
