Among other phone manufacturers, Sagem was also present at the 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona where it presented the latest addition to its mobile phone line, the my800C.

The stylish clamshell is said to combine the best features of GSM mobile phones and added EDGE and 3G support. Sagem my800C is a pretty good looking handset and - according to the manufacturer - "The marriage of materials and textures underlines its technological appearance for which no efforts have been spared, an appearance which is boosted by the addition of a mirror-effect vertical strip".

Moving on to what the phone can do, it comes equipped with a 262k color screen with a QVGA resolution, 2 megapixel camera for the user to freely take snapshots of everything that strikes his/her interest, video calling capabilities due to the VGA camera in the front and an integrated music player with support for several file types.

Other features include Bluetooth for connectivity with stereo headset support, 16 MB internal memory and a MicroSD card slot for memory expansion and external music keys.

Considering its size of 96 x 49 x 16 mm and weight of 95 grams, the Sagem my800C is a pretty convenient handset, both feature-wise and as design and it's nice to see that Sagem is focusing on producing a phone that brings a little bit of everything targeting most types of users.

If the Sagem my800C actually sounds like "the ideal mobile companion" for you, you'll be able to find it in shops starting the second quarter of the year. There is currently no information regarding the price the handset will be available at.
