Stylish clamshell phone

Sagem Telecommunications, the French electronics and handsets manufacturer, partnered with Lulu Castagnette to bring a special mobile phone, namely the My411C Lulu Castagnette. While Sagem is quite known among mobile users, Lulu Castagnette is not and many will ask themselves who or what is "that". Well, it's a French fashion brand that has a teddy bear as main icon and produces clothing and other goods for girls. This being said, it's clear that the new Sagem My411C Lulu Castagnette is also created for girls.

The phone is actually a version of the simple Sagem My411C, which should be launched this month too. My411C is an entry-level handset that comes in a clamshell form-factor and offers tri-band GSM connectivity, a 65k color internal display, a smaller external one, GPRS, MP3 player, FM Radio, Bluetooth, WAP 2.0 and microSD card support to boost those (insufficient) 10MB of internal memory. A VGA photo camera with video recording is also included, but I doubt it can offer more than low-quality pictures and videos. We don't have details about the phone's size or battery performances.

The My411C Lulu Castagnette handset brings the same specs as the original one, but it also comes with the icon teddy bear on the front case, plus Lulu Castagnette exclusive content, including screensavers and ring tones. All in all, the handset seems perfect for girls who haven't got a phone yet and only need a good-looking and simple device. Unfortunately we don't know the phone's price, nor when exactly it will be available, but we do know that Russia is the first country to get it.

Formed in 1996 in Paris, Lulu Castagnette now owns 20 stores in France and 9 across the globe, including in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), Moscow (Russia) and Manila (the Philippines). It's a brand that has been constantly growing in terms of popularity, and this fact makes the collaboration with Sagem understandable, since many other fashion brands embraced the mobile industry lately, by working with big producers to give a more stylish aspect to their handsets.
