Originally announced a couple of days ago, the Sabayon 8 operating system is a Gentoo-powered Linux distribution that screams bleeding-edge and reliability.

Sabayon 8 is now an Extreme-Rolling release Linux distribution powered by Linux kernel 3.2 and featuring native support for the Btrfs filesystem.

Sabayon 8 incorporated the GNOME 3.2.2, KDE Software Compilation 4.7.4 and Xfce 4.8 desktop environments, as well as apps like LibreOffice 3.4.4, XBMC 10.1, Entropy Framework 1.0 RC86.

Support for non-Roman and IME fonts, as well as installation support for non-Latin languages, is also available in Sabayon Linux 8.

Below you can see some screenshots of the GNOME Edition of Sabayon 8. Also take a look at our in-depth announcement for the Sabayon 8 Linux operating system and the screenshot tour for Sabayon 8 KDE Edition.
