SUPERAntiSpyware has just reached another important milestone, as version 6 of the application was officially launched earlier today, bringing a number of new features and improvements supposed to add an extra layer of security to your computer.

SUPERAntiSpyware 6 comes with a completely revamped user interface, which the developing team says should make everything easier to use for both beginners and those more experienced.

“[It’s] a simplified interface for easier navigation to the most commonly used features, and touch screen capable,” the release notes reveal, with the emphasis on the touch support, which means that the app can also be installed on tablets running Windows 8.1.

At the same time, the new version also boasts faster scan speeds and reduced CPU and memory usage, so you can also install it on older hardware, such as computers running Windows XP. This is actually one of the best things about the new build, as it offers support for all Windows versions on the market, including XP, even though Microsoft no longer releases updates and security patches for this OS version.

Last but not least, the developing team has also introduced a new email alerting system that delivers scheduled scan results to administrators, as well as a so-called System Investigator tool that helps quickly determine if a file on the system is malware or not.

Overall, this update is clearly good news for those trying to get rid of malware, so just download SUPERAntiSpyware 6 right now to see what it’s up to.
