STARAY announced its new concept of "Integrated Storage Solution for Data Managing Efficiently", the smallest data storage devices, namely the J and R series. The STARAY mini storage solutions are designed to help cleaning working spaces, to collect and manage standing out data, as well as to backup valuable files. The J and R series may prove very useful to those who constantly use different kinds of storage devices such as USB drives, external HDD, or other systems to manage their files, but still lack an efficient data management.

STARAY J Series -Data Storage Carrier (J5-5S-SB2) is a small storage device able to carry four 2.5" SATA HDDs. It can also assist users in data management for increased efficiency. The J series presents a 4 bay storage tool with JBOD (Just a Bunch of Disks) function and it proves itself very useful when it comes to collecting all data from different storage devices and putting it on a single carrier, conveniently transforming data management in an easy process. The storage space offered for your data classification should be quite enough on the four featured drives.

To simplify data management even more, a port multiplier function is available, meaning that all you need is a 4 to 1 cable to connect the device to your notebook. An extra hard drive enclosure (J1-1S-B2) offers even more mobility, users being able to manage their information on the go safe and easy. The J series will help anyone have a clean functional working space.

The "Integrated Storage Solution for Data Managing Efficiently" used by STARAY to design its new J series of storage solutions is the latest tendency in the storage field. It all started from taking into consideration the working space of any laptop user, as well as working habits created by carrying data.

STARAY R Series-Data Storage Cabinet (R2-2S-B2) is designed more with security features in mind. A two bay storage that supports RAID1 function enables users to carry two 2.5" SATA hard drives that can be used to backup personal data. Having the RAID1 function, the R series allows users to save any personal files, such as memories, writings or creative works, on R2 without worrying about hard drive failures that can damage data. R2 saves data automatically while it is being written on the first hard drive, offering high levels of security and eliminating the need of tones of CDs or DVDs for backing up personal files.

Both J and R series support 2.5-inch SATA hard drives, coming as convenient, safe and space saving solutions for personal users. The J series supports USB2.0 eSATA interface, while the R series supports USB 2.0 or USB2.0 1394b interface. The J series features a port multiplier function by one eSATA cable to support 4 x SATA HDDs. Both STARAY series are compatible with all operating systems.
