14 DAY TRIAL // EA has just unveiled that its recent SSX snowboarding simulator will get two special DLC packs in the near future, that are based on the much older SSX Tricky title.
SSX arrived earlier this year on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, delivering a next generation experience based on the snowboarding simulator lots of people know and love from the PS2 era.
Now, the game is set to really recreate that classic experience with two special DLC packs that add a new track, called Mt. Eddie, as well as new characters and costumes based on the ones present in SSX Tricky.
“Mt. Eddie is a Tricky inspired, ultra-long mountain that features 9 new Race and Trick drops, and is filled with huge kickers, ridiculous grinds, a Big Air drop, fireworks, and a whole lot more – the classic SSX experience,” EA said.
“[The Classic Characters] pack also comes with 7 retro SSX characters from SSX 3 and Tricky, each with a unique snowboard. And as if that weren’t enough, this pack also includes 3 classic music tracks.”
You can buy these DLC packs separately, for $5.99/€5.99 a piece, or as a bundle, for $7.99/€7.99, when they appear, on May 1 for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
