Having the top SSD models in the market seems to have benefited OCZ Technology Group Inc. The company has recently made public their latest financial results and they seem to be doing very well lately.

The California-based SSD developer and manufacturer was founded just a decade ago. Its main goal at that time was becoming a successful high-speed custom memory manufacturer.

As the memory market was very tough and there wasn’t much room left for innovation and with few opportunities to really differentiate from other manufacturers, OCZ went into the SSD business back in 2008.

They’ve executed very well and, after introducing the Vertex 4 SSD on their latest Indilinx Everest 2 platform ahead of schedule, they’ve managed to achieve a 92 percent increase in revenues reaching a total of 368 million dollars for the fiscal year 2012.

They plan to execute and develop just as well in the next year, shooting for another expected 80 percent revenue increase.
