SPECTOR 360 7.4 is the latest variant of the popular application that allows firms to efficiently monitor their networks for signs of security breaches, misuse or policy violations.

SpectorSoft Corporation has released a version of the user activity monitoring software, which is specially developed for organizations that use only Mac systems or a mix between Mac OS and Windows.

SPECTOR 360 allows managers to permanently monitor the activity of Mac and Windows clients. The screen capture function can be efficiently utilized to automatically address security, privacy and compliance issues without the need to manually analyze event alerts and logs.

The software is able to monitor email, instant messaging applications, browsing history, online searches, printing and file transfer activities. Furthermore, the Screen Playback function allows customers to view a video-like playback of the monitored client’s every move.

Celeste O’Keefe, CEO of The DANCEL Group, already uses SPECTOR and says that she’s satisfied with the results.

“User Activity Monitoring from SpectorSoft gives me complete visibility into the digital behavior of all the computers across my network, which includes Macs,” O’Keefe explained.

“The new version of SPECTOR 360 is going to make monitoring my Macs as easy as it has been to monitor my Windows-based computers. When it comes to SpectorSoft software, I’m a believer. Every business needs to have it. It's a new world with the technology we have out there, something we need to monitor.”

O’Keefe has been using the SPECTOR 360 for a few years now and back in 2010 she even fired one of her employees for spending too much time on other activities than work.

SPECTOR 360 7.4 is available for purchase on the spector360.com website at prices starting at $115 (90 EUR) per endpoint. Premium maintenance for one year is included.
