Leading mobile applications developer SPB Software has just announced a collaboration with mTraffic, a transmission rights holder of the Latin America championship, through which it would bring the 2011 Copa America to mobile phones.

The company came up with an application that will offer live broadcasting of the 2011 Copa America matches for the owners of Android, iPhone and iPad devices that live in various countries.

“SPB Software has developed a TV client which allows users to be on top of all Copa America events in real time,” the company explains.

Moreover, SPB Software notes that the new application comes with a Video-on-Demand channel that provides game plays and goal scoring, as well as various exciting historical moments.

With the new application, viewers will also be offered the possibility to re-watch highlights after the game has ended.

The new Copa America Official App will provide users with the possibility to enjoy transmission of matches in English and Spanish.

The company explains that the new Copa America Official App was built as a white label solution for content providers, and that it was based on SPB TV.

SPB Software's TV application, SPB TV, has already proved highly popular among mobile phone users, with over 7 million subscribers worldwide.

“SPB Software is known for SPB TV – the best in class solution for watching live mobile TV and video on demand that covers 100% of existing mobile devices with 3G and desktop platforms on the market,” the app developer notes.

As stated above, the Official 2011 Copa America application was made available for users of Android, iPhone and iPad devices, and can be acquired from the Android Market here or from the Apple AppStore here for $2.99.

As stated above, the application is not available in all countries, and those who would like to download and install them should head here to see whether it was made available for them as well. v
