Leading mobile applications and games developer SPB Software announced on Thursday the launch of a Symbian version of its highly-popular SPB Quads mobile game. According to the company, the title is an extremely addictive one, which has been developed so as to offer mobile phone owners the possibility to kill spare time with use.

The SPB Quads is now available for the users of touchscreen-enabled mobile phones powered by the Symbian operating system. The owners of such a device have now “a good way to spend 5 boring minutes in line or challenge their Windows Mobile and iPhone rivals' dominance in our online score table,” SPB Software states.

According to the company, the new game is based on the SPB Quadronica game, and it comes as the new arcade game for Symbian that offers users the chance to put together all of their pattern-finding skills. “A player's goal in this game is to reveal and mark rectangles' corners of the same colors in a field filled with color bricks, thus "destroying" them and earning scores. There are two modes in the game: a time-limited mode and an endless, "strategic" mode. This effectively creates two different scenarios of playing,” the company states.

Some of the main features of the new SPB Quads for Symbian game include: - Addictive game play - Two game modes for different gaming scenarios - Attractive graphics - 6 different types of bonuses - Online high scores

SPB Software also announced that the new SPB Quads for Symbian game had been developed so as to offer compatibility with Symbian S60 v.5-based touchscreen phones. It is available for purchase for 9.95 USD from the company's website, yet Symbian users will also find it in the Ovi Store. At the same time, those interested in the title can download a 15-day trial, so as to see whether the game suits them or not.
