Leading developer and distributor of mobile applications SPB Software announced on Tuesday the launch of a new software solution for Windows Mobile-based handsets, SPB Flash Cards. According to the company, the new solution has been designed as a learning application, enabling users to easily and effectively expand his / her word stock in a language.
There are a number of 1,000 cards included in the new
software solution, providing new means of learning Czech, German, English, Spanish, French, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Dutch, Portuguese, Chinese and Swedish. Moreover, SPB Software also notes that each of the cards is dubbed by native speakers of the respective language.
The main features of the new software solution include:

the application developer, the new SPB Flash Cards solution can easily prove to be a great assistant when it comes to learning a new language, even if it in only one option for the process. The software has been developed with a smart algorythm meant to track the user's progress, and also to adapt the learning process as needed, the company notes.
“When mastering a new language, it is crucial to skip the stage of translating a word into mother tongue first, memorizing a direct match of a subject and a foreign word instead. SPB Flash Cards software is aimed at just that - the process of learning begins with a new flash card appearing, showing an image of an item along with the matching word and the right pronunciation from a native speaker. But this is just the beginning - several other memorizing techniques are also included,”
SPB Software says.
There are 12 different versions of SPB Flash Cards available, as well as an English version, all of which have been developed so as to offer support for touchscreen devices that run under the
Windows Mobile operating system, version 5.0 and above. Each of the versions is available for purchase for 9.95 USD, but a free 15-day trial is also available for download for each of them.
