SPB Software, the worldwide leading mobile software developer, announced today that it had just released a new version of its SPB Brain Evolution game. According to the company, both the Windows Mobile Classic and Professional (touchscreen) versions of its title have reached version 2.0 and come with a series of new features to users.

SPB Brain Evolution 2.0 includes twelve exercises now, which are meant to offer users the possibility to test their minds and to keep them in shape. The exercises are Sudoku, Numbers, Arithmetics, Quadronica, Guess Who, Memorica, Encyclopedia, Minesweeper, Matches, Balltracker, Geometry and Pairs. While the first ten exercises have been included in previous versions of the game, the last two are completely new, the company adds.

The features list of SPB Brain Evolution 2.0 includes: - Two additional exercises mentioned above, Geometry and Pairs; - A new scoring and progress tracking system; - Sharing user's achievements online on SPB server; - Posting achievements to Twitter; - The new, finger-friendly interface that perfectly matches all the latest smartphones with bigger and more responsive touchscreens; - Native support for 800x480 and 400x240 screen resolutions.

The SPB Brain Evolution game was launched on the market back in January 2007, and became the best selling Windows Mobile game in the world in 2008. The application offers users the possibility to perform basic mind activities, including logic, arithmetic and memory. It sports a training mode and a marking mode, the latter enabling progress registration. Users can also see a diagram or a score based on the progress of their brain evolution. Features that have been included in the previous versions of the game are available in SPB Brain Evolution 2.0 as well. Starting with September 15, the new flavor is available for Windows Mobile touchscreen handsets in English, German, Italian, Spanish, Russian, French, Danish, Portuguese, Czech, Polish, Dutch, Traditional and Simplified Chinese, Japanese and Korean. The game is priced at $19.95 and can be purchased from SPB Software's website, where users will also find a 15-day trial version available for download.
