SPARKLE Computer has announced the launch of a new middle level graphics card, the Calibre P860 Turbo, that is powered by a Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT graphics processing unit and which is capable of handling even the most demanding 3D games and applications while at the same time sporting an easy overclocking tool that lets users increase the core speed with a touch of a button.

Like all cards based on the Nvidia G84
hardware architecture, the SPARKLE Calibre P860 Turbo is integrating technologies such as the Lumenex Engine that provides native support for DirectX 10 and Shader Model 4.0, the Quantum Effects technology for physics computation and the GigaThread Technology for extreme processing efficiency in shader based programs.

This new graphics card make use of the Nvidia stream processors in order to deliver fine visual effects and thanks to the Super Clock technology that is coupled with an easy to use Turbo button, users may overclock the shader units instantly while the two video BIOSes are coming loaded with two distinct settings for graphics core, stream processors and video memory that allows for an easy overclocking.

''Stream processors play very important rendering roles in the Calibre P860 Turbo Graphic Card, so by raising their speed with our advanced SCT technology, we can satisfy the anticipation from pc gamers for better performance with same price out of box.'', Said Kevin Wang, sales director of SPARKLE Computer Co., Ltd. "By exerting our creativity, now the Calibre P860 Turbo Graphic Card is equipped with exquisitely designed Turbo button, to let user expediently enjoy the extra 3D performance.''

The Calibre P860 Turbo graphics card comes with a default graphics core operating speed of 540MHz that can be raised at 580Mhz while the dedicated video memory that is working normally at 1440MHz can also be raised on the fly at 1500MHz. The stream processing units are coming with a default frequency of 1296MHz and by pressing the Turbo mode button, users are able to instantly raise their operating speed to 1404MHz.

As the Calibre P860 Turbo graphics card from SPARKLE is a medium level product, it comes with 256MB of DDR3 video memory that uses a 128-bit wide interface in order to communicate with the graphics processing engine and with the system memory. Apart from the PCI Extreme x16 system bus support, this new SPARKLE-made graphics card offers native support for multiple output options like HDTV, CRT and DVI-I.
