A few days ago, word got out that the whole Anna Nicole Smith drama was about to be brought up again, this time not by one of those involved in the whole ordeal (meaning, in the custody battle, the investigation into her lifestyle and death, the paternity case), but by a professional journalist, former MSNBC reporter Rita Cosby, via a book titled 'Blonde Ambition: The True Story Behind Anna Nicole Smith's Death'.

While a book is often nothing more than just that, a pile of papers that you can read and then toss to the garbage, this particular one threatened to re-open wounds that haven't even started to heal since the glamor model/tabloid character passed away and, the moment the media announced that its author would go through and release it, lawsuits began to pour. Usually, Hollywood is very wary of tell-alls but this particular book seems all the more threatening because it's not that: it is a journalistic work, based on facts and evidence, meant to reveal to the public things that many tried to keep a secret.

For instance, 'Blonde Ambition' hints that Larry Birkhead and Howard K. Stern (Anna Nicole's most famous former lovers) finally reached an agreement because the former practically bought the child Dannielynn from the latter. Another thing that is included in the book is that the bond the two share (or used to share) goes beyond money, because they were also once lovers. Even more, Anna Nicole Smith, the book implies, had a tape of them having sex – which would in time become her favorite pastime. So, you can easily see why Birkhead threatened to sue Cosby and take even her last penny if she went ahead and had 'Blonde Ambition' published.

However, there is one more party that hasn't yet been included in this story: Mark 'Hollywood' Hatten (with whom we even got to speak on some occasions, in case you remember), one of Anna's former boyfriends. Mark's sister, Jackie Hatten, was also close to the late model and she is actually one of the few who strongly believes that the publication of the book can be a good thing because it will eventually lead to clearing some of the facts that followed the investigation into both Daniel and Anna Nicole's death.
