With Kim Kardashian now in Minnesota to visit her soon to be ex, Saturday Night Live brought the Kardashian divorce into the spotlight again: with a skit that was as funny as it was shameless.

Called Kim's Fairytale Divorce, the skit poked fun at the eccentric August wedding ceremony to Kris Humphries, which was shot and aired on E! as a 2-day, 4-hour special.

It also took into account ongoing rumors about how the only reason Kim married Kris, only to divorce him after 72 days, was to make money off the wedding and get a ratings boost for the show.

Word online has it that Kim pocketed $17 million (€12.3 million) in profit off the wedding and that the entire marriage to Humphries was a sham from day 1.

The SNL skit, which you can also see below, embedded at the end of the article (albeit in rather poor quality), opens with flashbacks from the wedding, with Kim (“Kim”) suddenly going “Whoopsie, I got divorced!”

It also shows the reality star / socialite / businesswoman talking about what a hard time she's been having with the divorce, and includes some memorable quotes from her mother, Kris Jenner, who is constantly trying to pass for one of the Kardashian girls.

“You guys, it has been really hard. All week we’ve just been crying and crying and posing and crying,” Kim says in her whiny voice.

“Marriages are hard, and it turns out Kris was only half the man I wanted him to be. And by that, I mean he was only half black,” she adds.

She's not losing hope, though. “But things are looking up for me. I’m single and there’s an NBA lockout. Wink,” Kim adds.

“I know a lot of people say Kim got married just to make over $17 million from the wedding. But that's not true – she also got married for attention,” Jenner says at one point.

The video also promises a glimpse of Kris Humphries and features Bruce Jenner trying to explain how surprised he was when he heard about the wedding and the divorce – unfortunately, he's unable to move his face from the plastic surgery he's had, so he's not actually conveying emotion with it.

Check it out below, it's a must see, even if you don't agree with anything in it.
