The SIM-free version of HTC 8S is about to make its debut in the UK. For the time being, Windows Phone 8 fans can only purchase the carrier-bounded variant of the smartphone, but HTC will launch the unlocked model soon.
According to
Clove, the blue-themed SIM-free HTC 8S will arrive in stock on November 23 and will be up for sale for £225/$355/€280. The availability for red and black color options has yet to be confirmed.
Other two authorized resellers,
Amazon and
Expansys, claim the HTC 8S will hit shelves on November 27, which is several days later than Clove’s confirmed release date.
HTC 8S comes equipped with a dual-core processor clocked at 1GHz, an Adreno 305 GPU and 512MB of RAM. Furthermore, it packs 4GB of internal memory, microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB), 5-megapixel rear camera and 4.0-inch Super LCD display.
