IM+, the popular instant messaging service from SHAPE Services, now offers Skype and Facebook integration, thanks to a couple new updates.

The standard IM+ app has been promoted to version 7.8 and now offers the ability to connect to Skype with a Windows Live (MSN) account, which means no more switching devices for chatting with your Skype buddies.

The IM+ Video app also got an update. Version 1.5 now has Facebook single sign-on (SSO) authentication and includes Russian and Turkish localizations. Apparently folks around those parts are avid users of SHAPE’s social networking app.

Both IM+ and IM+ Video require only iOS 4.3 and are compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation), and iPad.
