New versions of IM+ for Skype Software for Java phones, Symbian S60 and Palm OS have just been brought out for the public to enjoy. There might prove to be a high number of people who will appreciate these solutions for reducing calling costs to any numbers around the world.

Phone calls can be made to Skype exclusive users and to landline numbers too. With the launch of these three beta versions of IM+, hundreds of millions of people will have access to these services. This comes as a result of the fact that the software works on all Java-enabled phones, including smartphones with Symbian OS installed.

IM+ for Skype software is a mobile application which provides solutions for placing voice calls and sending text messages to other users in an affordable way. This allows all users to talk with any other Skype users around the world, including those who use a PC.

The advantage of this software is that it does not need WiFi connectivity, which makes it within reach for a large number of handset users. Actually, all that they need is to be part of a 3G/GSM/CDMA network and it requires no monthly subscription.

The first version of IM+ for Skype Software has been released back in May, in the form of SkypeOut for mobile communication. This allowed voice communication with any numbers in exchange for a low cost. Through Skype Pro and Skype Unlimited, calls could be placed from the mobile device to PC, landline and mobile phone numbers around the world.

Skype is still working on this software and promises to bring the final version of IM+ for Skype sometime before the end of June. This version will fully support Windows Mobile Pocket PC and Smartphone versions, all without the need of Wi-Fi connectivity.
